Cute as a Cupcake Baby Headband

I crocheted this while waiting for my sister's college commencement to begin this past May. The base consisted of 2 or 3 chains connected to form a ring. After sc-ing 5 times in the ring, I made chain loops in each sc for the next round. For a frillier posy, I went back and added more loops into the same 5 sc until the flower achieved the desired fullness. Each chain loop varied from 7-9 chains with shorter chain loops in the front and longer ones in the back. The cupcake button sewed easily into the flower's center. Sewing the posy onto the elastic headband was even easier ~ almost like threading butter. I guess you could say this project was a piece of cake!

Another wedding detail

Providing each member of the wedding party (including those called in to help with hair, etc..) with their own giant bottle of water for the wedding day prep was a small but genuinely appreciated gesture. 

I have to admit, prettying up the bottles with these Shabby Chic tags was fun. The memories are in the details and this memory was easy to make. Just signed a name on a tag then tied to the bottle. =)
