Piles & Piles

Something I have noticed since setting up housekeeping is that one is always seeming to deal with piles...

piles of laundry
piles of dishes
piles of mail
piles of dust

However, this is one type of pile that I don't mind dealing with.
21 squares down... only 21 more to go on this baby blanket for my cousin's baby girl due this September. The dreamy cotton candy hues and soft, luscious yarn texture are wonderful to work. A soothing activity for tired hands. Hope to share a completed blanket soon!

Till then, happy crocheting!

  1. Wow, they will make a beautiful blanket! I know what you mean about piles around the house. There are some I ignore (washing and ironing) and some I can't leave alone (yarn and fabric).

Thanks for stopping by my blog, was great to find yours. Another one for my reading list!

  3. Oh yes, piles. I've got 'em too. Being a former teacher (and just simply nerdy), I conquer those dreadful household piles first so that I can get to what I really love to do after!

  4. Aww... This will be a perfect gift! Noticing lots of piles around here lately too. A few to many summer outings. Our house has been a bit neglected. Must say I don't mind piles of squares either though. Strange...
