Celebrate!

As soon as I saw this incredible creation sitting on my aunt's table, I knew I had to snap a picture so I could share its incredibly-cute adorableness with you! This cupcake is in fact the product of a floral delivery - white carnations arranged in foam set in a vase shaped like a cupcake wrapper. What an ingenious idea! My aunt couldn't remember what florist
had brought it to her door that day, but wow!
It certainly added a smile to my day!

What are you celebrating today?
For me, it is the first day of school with all the kiddies back in the building. After 3 days of in-service, it was nice to finally hear the little feet traipsing down the hall, see the sea of bobbing backpacks making their way to new classrooms, and hear their young, happy voices share excited greetings with friends not seen since the end of the last grade. This is one of my favorite days of the school year. They all behave like little angels! And will... until Friday anyway ;-)

May joy fill your heart with a celebratory spirit!

  7. What a great flower cupcake, Enjoy your few hours of quiet! I had a must suitcase and tried everything to get the smell out unsuccessfully. I bet if you put it out to your blog readers someone will know and we would all love to hear any tricks.
