In case you cannot tell, I am lately rather fond of making dishcloths. Here are a couple colorful variations on the same pattern found
here on Ravelry. The purple one was for Mimsie and I forgot to start with the solid color, so I made the next band wider to help balance it all out. My hands adore the cottony thickness of handmade dishcloths.
What are you adoring today?
Oh wow, that lavender is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love making that kind of dishcloth, too, but I hate like heck using them. I can't bear to make them dirty!
ReplyDeletePretty dishcloths!

Oh, I so need to make some of these! Yours are so pretty! Thanks for your inspiration! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteYour dishcloths inspired me so much, I have made two for my sister-in-law! I'm going to have to make some for myself now. I really like your purple one. It's always nice to see different ways of mixing up yarns. I found some very cheap cotton at the weekend, it's usually really expensive in my part of the world. Can't wait to try working with it.
ReplyDeleteHave a fab week hon, see you again soon.

These are so pretty and would make me smile even if when I did the dishes;) You've done a wonderful job. x
ReplyDeleteI have made tons of these. Can't get the nice thick kitchen cotton like they have in the States, but I just work with what I've got. In fact, although I really, really, really didn't need to -- I went to the craft store and bought more yarn yesterday. I better get to hookin! :) Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love making them, too. I like your purple one best.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Kate
Oh my! I love these round dishcloths. I will definitely be making some myself. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
