A Week for Visiting

Hard to believe it has been nearly a week since my last post!

Lately, life has been full of visits from out-of-town friends and family which has been very nice for me as it gave me a chance to explore our town's nooks and crannies with fresh eyes. Odd how we can get so wrapped up in the day-to-day that we do not take full advantage of the local pleasures that are only a short walk from our doorstep.

Now that my week of receiving visitors is over and done, I look forward to nestling into my cozy office chair for a chance to catch up on visiting my favorite blogs. I hope your week has been a fully and happy one.

Looking forward to visiting you soon!

P.S. Check out this blog here to enter a lovely crochet giveaway.

  5. What a pretty collection of buttons :)
It sounds like you have been busy doing the local sightseeing. I know I discovered an art gallery tucked away in our village, when my parents came over, that I had never spotted in the 2 years I had been here (and our village isn't that large either..haha :P).
    Have a lovely weekend :)

  10. Helloe there! thanks for coming by my blog! I love to have new visitors and to make new friends. I look forward to looking over your blog.

Pretty button pics! I love to work with buttons and fabric even though I don't sew.

My older sister wanted to come visit over Father's day but I told her it would NOT be a good timeBUT! She came anyway! She called a couple hours before she would arrive at the bus station. She totally messed up our Father's day plans and caused at lot of extra stress and sent me into surgery on monday exhausted... It was really fun. (snark-snark)

But now it's on to happier times and hopefully NO surprise visitors! I like to PLAN for my guests.. Clean house, some meals at least half way prepared and a freed up scheduale so I can enjoy my company.

Oh my, I'm awfully chatty on my first visit! Hee-hee! ♥
